About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely and courteously. The role also contributes to in-store operations, including taking and processing orders, preparing food, restocking supplies, and keeping the store clean. Delivery Experts use store-specific equipment and may deliver leaflets and door hangers. The position offers training and support, flexible hours, tips and mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for career progression. Work involves driving and standing for extended periods, serving customers in person and by telephone, and performing routine store tasks. Conditions may include adverse outdoor weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Team Members unload and stock deliveries, lift and carry supplies, and occasionally use stairs or a ladder for store tasks.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and Team Members in person and by phone.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carry supplies, and perform stocking and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously, obeying traffic laws, and know the store’s delivery area.
Read area maps.
Take orders over the phone and in person, greet customers within 10 seconds, and process orders accurately.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and report tips accurately.
Contribute to making pizzas, preparing dough, and preparing or restocking toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use and properly display, return, and store Domino’s-issued equipment.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries and supplies.
Occasionally perform outside tasks, change prices on signs, wash walls, and perform basic maintenance.
