About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential paths into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers within a designated area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role involves working in varying store temperatures and weather conditions, including exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical duties may include standing, walking, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving. Team members must be able to navigate delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical demands described, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds and navigating stairs during deliveries.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near, mid-range, far, and night vision as needed, perceive depth, and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and carry them to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload and stock bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Navigate delivery locations, including stairs and multi-story buildings.
