About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while projecting a positive image and driving safely and courteously. The role also includes in-store work such as taking and processing orders, preparing food, restocking supplies, and keeping the store clean. Team members are expected to provide friendly customer service, handle cash accurately, and contribute to a positive and safe team environment. The position combines driving and standing in-store work. It may involve adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and lifting or carrying supplies. Physical activities include frequent reaching and hand use, occasional bending, and periodically navigating stairs or climbing a ladder.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to use Domino’s-specific equipment issued for the role.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone.
Near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods during scheduled work.
Ability to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the described stocking and moving tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
Learn the store’s delivery area and read area maps.
Take orders over the phone and in person, greet customers within 10 seconds, and process orders.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, return, display, and properly store issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload product deliveries and move or stock supplies, including items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Perform other outside tasks such as removing trash, and assist with basic maintenance as needed.
