About The Position

Domino's is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for advancement, including management. Delivery Experts deliver food to customers within a designated area and may also perform general store team-member duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

The position involves driving and delivering products to customers, sometimes navigating stairs or multi-story buildings and carrying orders. Team members may also handle store supplies and ingredients, use kitchen equipment, and perform other tasks needed to operate the store. Work may involve exposure to adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The role requires standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and frequent reaching.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
• Must be able to drive and deliver products within a designated delivery area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites; carry products while walking and climbing.
• Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
• Perform other general store team-member duties as needed.
