About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders to customers and perform general store-team duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for advancement, including management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to driving and delivering orders, team members may operate equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. Delivery work involves driving within a designated area, finding customer addresses, and carrying products to customer locations, which may include multi-story buildings and stairs. The work includes standing for most tasks, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching. Team members may work around hot surfaces and tools, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, temperature changes, and sometimes adverse weather. Driving may involve varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with speed and accuracy.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
Ability to carry product while walking and climbing during deliveries; navigating five or more flights of stairs may be required.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Use navigation skills to locate addresses and navigate delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
Operate store equipment and use computers or touch screens to enter orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload and handle product deliveries, including moving and stocking cases and supplies.
Perform other store-team tasks, including moving trays and occasionally changing sign prices or completing maintenance-related tasks.
