About The Position

As a Delivery Driver, you will deliver orders to designated addresses within the delivery area while following traffic laws and company safety standards. You will navigate assigned routes using maps and navigation applications, complete delivery records and paperwork, and handle deliveries in multi-story buildings and adverse terrain. The role also supports in-store operations. Duties may include operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products to company specifications, receiving telephone orders, and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned work areas and equipment. You will communicate with customers and team members, process orders in person and over the phone, provide professional customer service and service recovery, and follow written instructions. Administrative duties include accurately processing monetary transactions and change, performing basic mathematical calculations, entering orders using keyboards or touch screens, and maintaining precise delivery and transaction documentation. Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products according to company specifications as needed.
Receive and process telephone orders when required.
Maintain the cleanliness of designated work areas and equipment daily.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members verbally and in writing.
Process orders accurately over the phone and in person.
Provide professional customer service and service recovery as needed.
Comprehend and execute written instructions correctly.
Process monetary transactions accurately, including calculating change.
Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division accurately.
Enter orders using computer keyboards or touch screens.
Maintain precise documentation of deliveries and transactions.
