About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential paths into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to deliveries, team members perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory and paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, monetary transactions, and physical activity in a restaurant and delivery environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, and climbing.
Must be able to drive and deliver products to customer locations.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients in storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Handle and carry products and supplies, including pizzas and beverages during deliveries.
