About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing.
• Ability to carry cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use near-, mid-range, far-, and night vision as required for store tasks and driving; depth perception and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.
• Ability to work around varying or adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate to delivery addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
• Carry products while walking and climbing during deliveries.
