About The Position

The Delivery Driver performs general restaurant duties, including operating equipment; stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage and work areas; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone and internet orders; counting inventory; completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. The role requires communicating verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers by phone and in person. Drivers use their own vehicle to deliver products safely, navigate roads and maps, and manage adverse terrain and stairs at delivery sites. The position also requires accurately performing basic arithmetic to make correct monetary change, with a calculator available if needed.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers over the phone and in person.
• Ability to safely drive one's own vehicle.
• Ability to navigate roads and maps, as well as adverse terrain and stairs at delivery sites.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
