About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a delivery driver to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. The role also performs general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential progression into management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, crouching, and climbing stairs.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; several deliveries may be made per shift.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
Navigate to customer addresses, including adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
Unload and stock ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck.
Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to process orders.
