About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and provide customer service while working both on the road and in the store. Drivers receive training and may assist with in-store tasks such as preparing products, processing orders, and supporting the team. The role offers opportunities for career growth within Domino’s, including advancement to management or franchise ownership.

The work involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and must be able to perform a range of physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and occasionally climbing or crouching.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the physical tasks described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies into storage.
• Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
