About The Position
Domino’s is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers deliver orders by car to customers’ doors and may deliver flyers and door hangers. A Team Member may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for growth, including into management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, climb, stoop or bend, crouch or squat, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate to customer addresses and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
