About The Position

Responsible for delivering parts to customers in a timely manner and assisting mechanics with needed parts. This role involves local travel and requires adherence to traffic laws and vehicle maintenance. The position also includes customer service, inventory management, and maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

Six months to one year of experience.
Clean driving record and valid license.
Customer Service skills.
Communication skills.
Industry Knowledge.
Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods.
Ability to reach.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work in noisy environments with occasional fumes.

Responsibilities

Ensure all parts are put into their proper place.
Assist mechanics by providing appropriate parts.
Make deliveries to customers in a timely manner.
Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, supplies and equipment to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
Report on any mechanical issues encountered with vehicles.
Present bills, receipts and collect payments for goods delivered.
Utilize forklift to load and unload trucks and place parts into inventory.
Assist with evaluating inventory levels and returns.
Protect company’s value by keeping information confidential.
Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
