About The Position
This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The position also requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills for order processing, and good motor coordination for precise hand and finger movements. The role requires entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. The delivery driver aspect of the role includes operating a vehicle to deliver products to customers, distributing marketing materials, and navigating to various delivery locations. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and strong navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. Drivers must be able to navigate diverse terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
- Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials
