About The Position

This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas, and preparing products. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility on an approximate daily basis. Key skills include accurate and quick calculation abilities (with or without a calculator), making correct monetary change, and strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing. The role requires motor coordination for precise, rapid hand and finger movements, the ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touchscreen, and the capacity to comprehend and follow written instructions. Effective verbal communication with customers and co-workers is essential for processing orders both over the phone and in person. Responsibilities extend to delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing flyers and door hangers, and utilizing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. The driver must be able to navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
