About The Position

This is a seasonal Propane Delivery Driver role at Brightstar. The driver safely delivers propane to residential, agricultural, and business customers and serves as a customer-facing representative of the company. The role includes onboarding, safety training, ride-alongs, and supported transition to independent deliveries. Drivers complete vehicle inspections, paperwork, and electronic reporting, and coordinate with dispatch and service teams. The position includes on-call rotations and may require extended or after-hours work as business needs require. A $3,000 return bonus is included. Pay is $28–$30 per hour.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
Driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions.
Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours when required.
Commitment to following safety procedures without exception.

Nice To Haves

Previous truck driving or propane delivery experience.
Comfort using basic computer systems for logging, inspections, and documentation.
Experience working directly with residential or commercial customers.
Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely.
Comply with federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements.
Inspect vehicles and promptly report maintenance or equipment needs.
Provide professional and courteous service at customer locations.
Work with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals.
Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require.
Complete daily vehicle inspections (DDVIR) and accurately document findings.
Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic reporting.
Communicate with customers, handle after-hours calls, and escalate service needs appropriately.
