About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, conducting inventory, and maintaining cleanliness. Training is provided on the job. Essential skills include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication for order processing, excellent hand-eye coordination for precise movements, and the ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items up to 30 pounds, pushing trays, occasional climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks including forceful gripping and manipulation of tools. The role also requires delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings and private homes while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs. Driving is a primary function, with team members making multiple deliveries per shift. Walking is required between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations. Climbing five or more flights of stairs may be necessary during deliveries. Work conditions during delivery involve exposure to varying and adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
