About The Position

The Delivery Driver (non-CDL) transports products from origin to destination as assigned, with a focus on timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The role includes unloading and staging products at customers’ places of business, maintaining professional customer interactions, and building strong customer relationships through excellent service and responsible driving. Drivers may occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. The position requires travel 75% of the time, with no overnight stays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds; handle tires heavier than approximately 50 pounds, including rolling, destacking, or team lifting.
Travel 75% of the time; no overnight stays.

1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
Help verify outgoing and incoming products for accuracy of size, amount, and type.
Collect customer payments in forms accepted by the company.
Unload cargo efficiently and stage products at customers’ places of business.
Ensure required administrative paperwork is available for inspection and accompanies deliveries.
Represent the company professionally in customer interactions and through responsible driving.
Maintain driver logs, fuel-purchase records, mileage records, and other records required by law and company policy.
Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
Transport products from origin to destination as assigned in a timely manner.
Build customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
