About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas and other products to customers within a designated area and also assists with in-store duties. The role includes operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Domino’s provides training for deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store tasks. The position may offer opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of hands and forearms.
• Ability to lift and unload deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry pizzas and beverages to customers and navigate stairs or other terrain as needed.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Assist with other in-store tasks, including making pizza.
