About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is seeking delivery drivers to work in its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and perform general store-team duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry by computer keyboard or touch screen, handling money, and completing tasks in varied in-store and outdoor conditions. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, moving trays, and occasionally navigating stairs or climbing a ladder.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Must be available to work at least Fridays and/or Saturdays from 5–8 p.m.
- Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders.
- Ability to make precise, rapid movements with hand-eye coordination and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the physical activities described, including lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigational skills.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Unload deliveries using a hand truck and lift and carry supplies as needed.
- Move trays using dollies and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for signs, cleaning, or maintenance.
