About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management and franchise ownership. Orientation and training are provided on the job. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards, as well as access to an insured vehicle for deliveries. They need to navigate to addresses and delivery sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and carry pizzas and beverages while walking or climbing. Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves working in varying temperatures and weather, and using equipment such as computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including carrying products during delivery and navigating stairs; delivery may require climbing five or more flights.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
