We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to customers across the Houston Metro Area.

Requirements

  • Experience operating and maneuvering gooseneck trailers, trucks, bumper pull trailers, dump trucks, and F-250 flatbed trucks. Only candidates with proven hands-on experience with the above equipment will be considered.
  • Able to drive company vehicles and familiar with Houston and surrounding areas.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience making local deliveries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid State issued driver's license.
  • Must pass a pre-employment screening including an MVR check and a drug test.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • Commitment to following safety standards and protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Wholesale experience in a garden center, nursery, or farming.
  • Experience or education in horticulture, agriculture or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Load customer vehicles with plants and bulk material including gravel, bases, and stones.
  • Operate a skid steer, forklift, and loader (optional: operator duties for select candidates).
  • Operate company trucks with attached utility trailer and mini dump.
  • Follow the proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and semis.
  • Assist customers with floral, nursery, garden, plant and landscape purchases.
  • Care for plants, fertilize, prune, deadhead, hand-water, and control weeds.
  • Sweep, rake, shovel and keep nursery areas neat and safe.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with deliveries at all company locations.
