About The Position
Colonial Electric Supply is hiring an experienced Truck Driver for local routes. This full-time position offers steady local routes, competitive pay, and top-tier benefits, with weekends completely free. The driver will conduct daily pre-trip safety inspections, oversee truck loading, drive dedicated local routes to deliver electrical components to commercial job sites and company branches, safely unload materials for clients, and provide friendly, professional customer service. The role also involves operating material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of proven experience driving a 26ft box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR background screening required).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical/certification and meet OSHA requirements.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs during deliveries.
- High School Diploma or GED.
