About The Position

The Delivery Driver performs delivery and general restaurant duties, including operating equipment, stocking and rotating ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone and internet orders, counting inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. A company car may be provided for delivery purposes only.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers, by phone and in person.
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle and navigate roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate ingredients from delivery to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
