About The Position

This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling telephone orders. The position also requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Key skills include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and strong verbal and written communication for order processing. The role demands good motor coordination for precise movements, proficiency in using computer systems for order entry, and the ability to understand and follow written instructions. Effective verbal communication with customers and colleagues is essential for processing orders both in person and over the phone. A significant part of the job includes delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing flyers and door hangers, and possessing strong navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. The driver must be able to navigate various delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
