About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and also helps with in-store work. Domino’s provides full training for deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store duties. The role involves serving customers, working with the store team, and completing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. The job may provide opportunities to advance from delivery driving into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, in person and by telephone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to drive and complete multiple deliveries during a shift.
• Ability to lift and move cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, occasionally climb stairs or a ladder, bend, crouch or squat, and reach continuously.
• Ability to use hands continuously throughout the day; shaping pizza dough requires frequent, forceful use of forearms and wrists.
• Ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces; talking and hearing on the telephone and near- and mid-range vision are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders.
• Unload bulk product deliveries and move ingredients and supplies to storage.
• Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
