About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff stores in the East Delray Beach area. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main job, a supplemental job, or work alongside school or other activities. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Domino’s describes opportunities for advancement from delivery driver to management and potentially to franchise ownership or corporate operations. The position includes delivery-related duties and general store team member responsibilities, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders using verbal, writing, and telephone skills.
• Must have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, and infrequently navigating stairs or climbing a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigational skills.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to process orders.
