About The Position

Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow into management or other positions. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may also perform general store team-member duties, including preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and facilities. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders using verbal, writing, and telephone skills.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to make rapid, accurate movements with hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, sit to complete paperwork, and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
• Ability to lift and stack cases weighing up to 50 pounds, carry items including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds, and push or pull trays on a dolly.
• Ability to work in cramped quarters and in varying temperatures, including hot and cold areas, and to differentiate hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
