About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car to customers’ doors, take and process orders by phone and in person, and perform related in-store and outside tasks. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement into management and other roles. Pay is $17.00–$25.00 per hour, with tips and reimbursements for gas and phone data usage. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards, along with access to an insured vehicle for deliveries. Drivers need navigation skills to locate addresses and must be able to negotiate delivery sites and adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs. Work may involve varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The position also involves physical activity such as standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Ability to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, including adverse terrain.
Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Far and night vision for driving, and the ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Take and process customer orders by phone and in person.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Handle payments and make correct monetary change.
Travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations, carrying pizzas and beverages and navigating stairs or other challenging terrain.
Perform related in-store and outside tasks, including removing trash and couponing.
