Essential functions include accurate order entry, map reading, navigating various delivery sites, and handling varying weather conditions. The role also involves exposure to different temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, differentiating hot/cold, and far/night vision for driving. Temperaments needed include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical requirements include standing for most tasks, walking short distances, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling trays on dollies, and infrequently climbing stairs or ladders. Stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching are also continuous or occasional requirements. Driving is a key component, requiring a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Maintaining cost controls, inventory, cash control, and customer relations are crucial. Adherence to all policies and procedures is mandatory.
