About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products to customers by car and carries them to the customer’s door. The role also performs general store team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The driver must be able to navigate the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings, while carrying products.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must have motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Responsibilities

Deliver product by car and carry it to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Make correct monetary change.
