About The Position

This role involves operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility on an approximate daily basis. The position requires strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and making change, excellent verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing, and good motor coordination for precise and rapid movements. The ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry and to comprehend and follow written instructions is essential. Effective verbal communication with customers and co-workers is necessary for order processing, both over the phone and in person. Key responsibilities include delivering product by car to customer doors, distributing flyers and door hangers, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. The driver must be able to navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
