About The Position

Parts Authority is hiring a Delivery Driver to support its Collision Auto Parts division. The driver represents the company to wholesale and retail customers while operating a company van on assigned routes and schedules. The role involves delivering oversized collision parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and hoods, and providing courteous, professional customer service at each stop. Drivers verify orders and inspect parts before departure, secure items for transport, and complete route sheets, delivery logs, and customer paperwork. They also maintain vehicle cleanliness, report maintenance concerns and delivery or safety issues, and follow traffic laws and company safety guidelines. The position requires frequent handling of bulky parts weighing up to 75 pounds, extended periods of driving, and working in various weather conditions. Drivers should have basic familiarity with common collision parts and related components to help confirm delivery accuracy. The listed minimum pay is $19.29 per hour.

Requirements

Valid state-issued driver’s license.
Clean driving record, subject to an MVR check.
Must be at least 21 years old due to an insurance requirement.
Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
Ability to enter and exit the delivery vehicle frequently throughout the day.
Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
Ability to use a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interactions or signature capture.
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with tact and diplomacy.
Ability to follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.
Must meet all stated minimum requirements and qualifications and knowledge, skills, and abilities to be eligible to drive for Parts Authority.

Nice To Haves

Prior delivery driving experience is preferred but not required.
Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime as needed preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver automotive and oversized collision parts while following assigned routes and schedules.
Load and unload parts weighing up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
Verify delivery accuracy, inspect parts before departure, and secure items for transport.
Communicate professionally with customers and document delivery issues.
Complete daily route sheets, delivery logs, and customer paperwork.
Keep the company vehicle clean and promptly report maintenance concerns.
Comply with traffic laws, company safety guidelines, and required safety gear practices.
Promptly report incidents, damages, and safety concerns to management.
Represent the company courteously and provide a customer-focused experience.
Maintain basic familiarity with collision parts and related components to help confirm accurate deliveries.
Manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
Use a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, customer interface, and signature capture.
