About The Position

Parks Auto Parts is seeking a Full-Time Delivery Driver for their Mt. Pleasant location. The company has been serving South Carolina since 1946 and is a growing leader in aftermarket auto parts distribution. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of automotive parts to customer locations using a company-provided vehicle, ensuring all deliveries are made without incident. CDL is not required for this position.

Requirements

• Valid South Carolina driving license
• Good verbal skills
• Strong people skills
• Ability to interact with various levels of management and customers
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and up
• Copy of a current 3-year driving record with no more than two minor traffic violations within the last three years for applicants 21 or older

Responsibilities

• Driving courteously and safely using defensive driving skills
• Professional communication with customers at their site
• Keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order
• Ability to write up customers returns accurately
• Demonstrate the ability to be “safe” on the road and when in the warehouse
• Ability to drive in various road conditions safely
• Must be able to handle hazardous materials
• Any other tasks requested by management
