Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid US Driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUI convictions)
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience
- Own vehicle with your name listed as an insured driver
- Excellent knowledge of Calcutta's roads and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
- Flexible schedule to accommodate various delivery times
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and GPS navigation
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to various destinations in Calcutta and surrounding areas
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as restocking supplies or organizing the warehouse
