About The Position
Local Delivery Driver for Manufacturing Company in Tempe, AZ. Local driving only. Deliveries will be made using one of our company vehicles (small box truck or pick-up truck). You will not be required to use your personal vehicle. This is a full-time position requiring 40+ hours per week in a fast-paced, high-demand, quality environment. Requirements
- Ability to lift trays or boxes up to 50 pounds, unassisted when necessary
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid drivers license and clean 3 year driving record
- Ability to analyze paperwork and differentiate what jobs are ours, when picking up at other customers
- General knowledge of the Phoenix area and ability to organize stops
- Function in a team atmosphere and have the willingness to help support other areas during peak times
- Sufficient verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required
Responsibilities
- Drive a delivery truck to drop off or pick up parts
- Assists with various warehouse jobs as requested, including building boxes and packing boxes
- Follow strict safety standards on and off the road
- Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
