About The Position

Seeking enthusiastic and dependable last-mile delivery drivers to deliver perishable meal kits to residential addresses and businesses using an app. Drivers use their own vehicle to run efficient, accurate delivery routes while following strict safety and procedural guidelines. Drivers must bring a personal vehicle and have a valid driver's license.

Routes may involve up to six hours of delivery plus travel, 30–100 miles from pickup, and 25–100 packages. Once started, a route must be completed; failure to do so may result in being blocked from future jobs and reduced pay. Drivers must arrive on time, start the job in the app only when on-site, place boxes right-side up at the front door, photograph the box and door for delivery confirmation, and answer all calls during the route. No passengers are allowed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must own a clean, empty four-door sedan or larger vehicle, such as an SUV; coupes are not permitted.
• Vehicle must be free of personal items, including trash, luggage, and car seats.
• Must own an Android or iPhone smartphone with a data plan and charging capability.
• Must be able to lift and carry delivery boxes.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed safety protocols.
• Must have no passengers during delivery routes.

Responsibilities

• Obey traffic laws and established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Report mechanical problems encountered with the vehicle.
• Verify inventory load contents against shipping papers.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
• Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
• Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for delivered or loaded goods.
• Complete assigned routes once started.
• Arrive on time and begin the job in the app only after arriving on-site.
• Place delivery boxes right-side up at the front door and photograph the box and door for delivery confirmation.
• Answer all calls during the route.
