About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression into management or franchise ownership. Orientation and training are provided on the job. Drivers deliver products by car and to customers’ doors, and may deliver flyers and door hangers. Store team members may also operate equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, and prepare products. The position involves customer and coworker communication, order processing, and a range of physical activities, including walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, reaching, and climbing stairs. Work may involve adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical requirements include handling deliveries and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, standing for most tasks, and performing repetitive hand and arm movements.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain and multi-story buildings while carrying products.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, including by telephone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, walking, climbing stairs, and frequent reaching and hand use.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and bring them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Read maps, locate addresses, and navigate delivery sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Operate store equipment and prepare products.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Unload bulk product deliveries and move supplies to storage or shelves.
Perform other store tasks such as removing trash and completing outside tasks.
