About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Harlingen. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. Safely operate your own personal vehicle to deliver packages to residential and commercial locations.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
18 years of age or older. 2 years driving history if 18, 1 if 19.
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
Basic smartphone skills for using delivery apps and communication
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent customer service and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions (if applicable)
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Far vision and night vision for driving

Previous delivery or professional driving experience preferred
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items
Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
Report any issues or delays to the dispatch team promptly
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
During delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties.
Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area. A Team Member may make several deliveries per shift.
Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.
