About The Position

With limited supervision, this role is primarily responsible for picking up and delivering supplies and equipment between the company location and various job sites. The role involves operating a company vehicle to load and unload various items, maintaining accurate tracking documentation, and ensuring timely movement of goods. The driver will also pick up and deliver equipment and supplies from suppliers and job sites, return merchandise, and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. The position may also involve special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Always obtain a valid driver’s license and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
Eligible to legally work in the United States.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered.
Forklift certified, preferred

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicle to load and unload supplies, scrap, equipment, and paperwork.
Maintain accurate tracking documentation for items picked up and delivered.
Promptly move between locations to ensure timely movement of goods.
Pick up equipment and supplies from suppliers as requested.
Deliver equipment and supplies directly to job site when required.
Return merchandise to suppliers and secure paperwork for same.
Maintain vehicle interior and exterior cleanliness.
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.
