About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role delivers products by car and to customers’ doors, along with flyers and door hangers. It also includes general store team-member work such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory and paperwork, and cleaning the facility and equipment. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Hold a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries; delivery routes may involve five or more flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including communicating with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
Navigate delivery sites, including private homes and multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
