Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
Valid Driver’s License required (minimum 3 years)
Ability to operate trucks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good driving record with no traffic violations
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver GE Appliances to different addresses and through different routes.
Follow routes and time schedule.
Load, unload, stage, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
Ability lift product up to 90 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb in/out of box truck without assistance.
Get the required signatures from OEM on pick tickets as well as driver signature.
Document deliveries or log other shipment information.
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
Assist with warehouse operations when asked.
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Complete truck inspection sheets daily
Ability to communicate with customer/receiver when making deliveries.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
