About The Position

This role is responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and tools to and from job sites using a variety of vehicles ranging from pickup trucks to semi tractor-trailers. Requirements

• Class A CDL Required
• 1+ year experience operating a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers
• Ability to safely load, secure, and transport equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
• Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in construction or equipment delivery
• Familiarity with DOT compliance and regulations
• Forklift or equipment operation experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up construction equipment, tools, and materials to/from job sites
• Operate a range of vehicles including pickups, flatbeds, and semi tractor-trailers
• Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and materials
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Coordinate with yard staff and project teams to meet delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate DOT records, including driver logs, inspections, and certifications, and ensure ongoing compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
