About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver customer orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential paths into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors. They may also deliver flyers and door hangers. As store team members, drivers may operate equipment, stock ingredients and supplies, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, handling money, navigating delivery locations and sometimes stairs, and working in conditions that can include adverse weather, temperature changes, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving parts, food odors, and cramped spaces. Physical tasks may include standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to perform the described physical tasks, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and carry them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate to addresses, including adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone, and enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
Handle monetary transactions and make correct change.
