About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders. Responsibilities include receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential skills include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and proficiency in using computer systems or touch screens for order entry. The work environment involves exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, and cramped spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting items up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and may involve forceful use of forearms and wrists, as well as pinching, grasping, and manipulating tools. The role also requires driving a vehicle to deliver products, flyers, and marketing materials, necessitating a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Navigational skills are essential for reading maps and locating addresses within the delivery area, including navigating multi-story buildings and various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands during delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, and walking to and from the vehicle to the customer's location. Climbing stairs, potentially five or more flights, may be required during deliveries. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
