About The Position
This role involves delivering products, collecting payments, and providing excellent customer service. The Delivery Expert will also be cross-trained in various store operations, including food preparation and opening/closing procedures. A sense of urgency and teamwork are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- Ability to read a map and figure out directions quickly
- Ability to speak and write clearly and comprehension of using a computer based order entry system
- Have a valid driver's license with safe driving record that meets company standards
- Proof of liability insurance for yourself and vehicle
- Navigational skills to read map and locate addresses for delivery
Responsibilities
- Collect cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items
- Check all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery and carry out customers in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure vehicle used for delivery pass inspection, both mechanically and visually
- Uphold Dominos standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance
- Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions
- Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operate pizza oven, and properly box products for delivery or carryout
- Exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person
- Deliver product, deliver flyers and door hangers via a personal vehicle
- Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun
