About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring a delivery driver to deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement into management and other positions. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position also includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, handling payments, and working in a fast-paced store environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and five or more flights of stairs when required.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
- Motor coordination and the ability to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including carrying, walking, climbing, reaching, and handling products and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to delivery addresses, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
