About The Position

AmPharm is a long-term care pharmacy providing custom-packaged medications to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, group homes, psych communities, and recovery centers. We work closely with our partners to improve dosing compliance, reduce errors and manage costs. This role is for the night shift, working from 6:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

High School diploma required
Current and valid TN State Driver’s License
Current Automobile Insurance
Position may require unscheduled overtime, week-end work
Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
Travel required

Job will require frequent lifting of objects up to 40 pounds
Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling

Responsibilities

Delivers and picks-up pharmaceuticals, durable medical equipment, to nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, etc.
Will be required to work early am or late pm shifts
Recognize and implement infection control practices that reduce the risk of infections in patients and organizational staff
Bags and tags dirty equipment prior to transport
Places stock on shelves or racks and truck
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
Assists facilities with questions and or concerns about deliveries
Cleans inside of truck
Follows all traffic laws
Other duties as assigned
Participates in on-going education, including in-services, and other activities, to maintain and improve individual competence
