About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a non-CDL Delivery Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations as needed. The role involves loading and unloading deliveries, verifying customer returns, inspecting and fueling the truck, and following company and DOT safety requirements. The posting describes a home-daily schedule with no nights or weekends. Overtime may be needed.

The position pays an estimated $16.39–$24.58 per hour and is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan. Starting wages may be higher in some locations due to local or state wage requirements. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
• Pick up customer returns and validate that the products match credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
• Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
• Use personal protective equipment as required, including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
