About The Position

Imperial Brady is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to customers. The driver transports, selects, and delivers products to designated customers as directed by an immediate supervisor or Warehouse Manager. The role may also involve working in the warehouse on occasion and performing additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

At least 1 year of delivery experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and in small-group situations with customers and other employees.
Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers, multiply and divide with tens and hundreds, and perform these operations using U.S. money and weight, volume, and distance measurements.
Familiarity with the location and surrounding areas.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds; frequently sit, stand, walk, and lift.

Responsibilities

Complete customer deliveries according to the delivery ticket.
Deliver a variety of items to different addresses using different routes.
Move products and materials from the truck to customers’ designated storage areas.
Follow routes and time schedules.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
Complete logs and reports.
Ensure accurate documentation for all delivered merchandise.
Prevent damage to company equipment, facilities, and products, and maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment.
Follow applicable safety guidelines, government regulations, company safety manuals, and stated safety policies.
Follow up on customer inquiries to ensure an appropriate response and customer satisfaction.
Work in the warehouse on occasion, as requested.
Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
